3M is one of the world's leading adhesive tape manufacturers, the VHB model is the extra strong, heavy duty version which we supply. Suitable for both home, office and industry, it is very important to follow instructions when using this tape to get the best results.

A strong acrylic adhesive foam double-sided tape to suit multiple job types. Acrylic 3M VHB tape is perfect for indoor and outdoor use and due to its permanent bonding and shock-absorbing properties is extremely versatile, allows mounting on surfaces such as metal, glass, tile, brick, concrete, stone and wood.

Note: Acrylic adhesive tape is low-tack and works differently to sellotape, it will not feel extremely sticky to the touch - this is normal. This tape begins bonding once in contact with a suitable surface and pressure is applied.

This double sided tape is heavy duty, industrial strength acrylic adhesive offering a weather resistant bond. This allows super strong adhesion of items indoors and outdoors including lights, LED lights, cameras, dashcams, number plate fixings, car accessories, door stops, bathroom wall accessories and more. Correct preparation of the surfaces and proper application will result in a permanent bond forming between the two surfaces over a 24 hour period.

Important: How to use this double sided tape correctly

1. Fully clean the surfaces you wish to bond, ideally with an alcohol-based product to completely remove all dirt and grease.

2. Allow time for surfaces to completely dry and applying above 10°C.

3. Press tape into position and hold pressure for 10 seconds or more, this tape requires pressure to start bonding correctly.

4. Allow to cure for at least 6 hours, remove the liner to expose the other side of adhesive.

5. Repeat cleaning process of other surface and press firmly onto tape.

Tips to improve double sided tape efficiency:

Do not attempt to remove and re-apply tape as this may cause failure.

Do not apply to dirty or greasy surfaces.

Do not apply to material or fabrics

Do not apply in conditions below 10c

Do not use with vinyl, wallpaper or finished wood surfaces.

Removal leaves no residue or damage to the appropriate surface, it can be removed by hand or using a little direct heat while pulling it back.
