The Legendary Ultima Pro Returns

The Kyosho Ultima Pro is the 21st release in Kyosho's Vintage Series.

Originally released in 1988, the Ultima Pro evolved from the first-generation Ultima that won the World Championships in 1987.

The original Ultima Pro introduced a host of serious racing features, including a duralumin flat chassis compatible with side-by-side battery layouts, FRP upper deck, pressure dampers, long FRP damper stays, turnbuckles, ball differential and rear universal shafts.

Its wider body and chassis also gave the Ultima Pro its distinctive appearance compared with the original Ultima.

For this reissue, Kyosho has incorporated features inspired by the later 1989 Ultima Pro, commonly known as the "XL". Wider front suspension arms and an extended 280mm wheelbase give the car the proportions of the later XL model.
